1st Dursley Beavers Have a Brush With the Law

On Thursday 10th February, the Beavers were lucky enough to have a visit from PCSO Josh Griffiths from Dursley police station, who came along in his police van.

Josh talked to the Beavers about "stranger danger" and told them what to do if they were lost and what to do if a stranger should approach them.

Beaver_Police2.jpgThe Beavers learnt about the different jobs that police do, such as mounted police, helicopter pilots and police dogs.

They tried on police uniform and explored the police van, including the sirens and flashing blue lights.

Josh assured the Leaders that the cage in the back of the van could take all eighteen Beavers!

A big thankyou to Josh for a very educational and fun evening.
