Speed Check

On Saturday 5th February, 1st Dursley Scout Group attended a Community Speed Check on Uley Road, Dursley with PCSO Josh Griffiths from Gloucestershire Police, also attending was the Sergeant from Dursley Police Station. The scouts had a go with a speed gun and over ten drivers were pulled over during the whole one-hour session.
“It was a great experience for the scouts with around 12 of them attending.” Said John Fleck, the Scout Leader who supervised the event.
Jacob Greenwood, a Scout who was part of the event, said that “It was quite good fun and we caught loads of people!”
