On Friday 25th November Dursley held their annual Christmas lights switch on and this year 1st Dursley Scout Group were there selling their Christmas cards. The Group had a stall in the Market Place, but by sending children up Parsonage Street we were able to cover the whole event.
Overall we sold £125.50 of Christmas Cards. That’s £100.40 for the Scouts and £25.10 for Children in Need. Numerous people commented on how good the cards looked and what wonderful designs.
Thank you to the Leaders, committee members, parents and children that packed the cards into packets or came along and helped sell some.
